The Afghanistan’s National Journalists Union (ANJU) while expresses its utmost concerns over the situation of journalists and the staff of Nangarhar National Radio and Television, asks the security authorities to take serious and swift action to preserve the lives of journalists and TV staff who are trapped in the building.

According to some reports, a number of journalists and TV staff have been able to leave the site of incursion with the help of security forces, however the danger still threatens our colleagues in Nangarhar.

We hope that may the threat be lifted as soon as possible and the lives of our colleagues be preserved.
